Who is Eligible for NDIS?

How to apply?
Once you are found eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you can apply through the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to begin the planning process. This can be started by calling 1800 800 100.
During your planning process, you will meet with an NDIA representative (either in person or over the phone) to develop a plan that reflects your individual needs, preferences, and goals. This is your opportunity to talk about the supports you require, the tasks you want to achieve, and the long-term goals you’d like to work towards.
Based on your discussions, the NDIA representative will identify the most suitable services and supports and confirm what level of funding will be available to you. Once your plan is finalised and approved, you will receive a detailed document that outlines the supports and services you can access through your NDIS funding.
